The short answer
Ordinary Pakistani passport holders need a visa before travelling to the UAE. Tourist visas are not issued by an embassy; they are applied for online through the UAE’s immigration authorities by a UAE-based sponsor — an airline (such as Emirates or flydubai, for their passengers), a hotel, or an accredited tourism company. Tripsol works with such sponsors and handles the paperwork for you — apply now.
Official fees (GDRFA Dubai, checked 22 October 2026)
| Visa | Government fee | Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Single-entry tourist visa, 30 days | AED 200 | 5% VAT |
| Single-entry tourist visa, 60 days | AED 300 | 5% VAT |
GDRFA lists an expected completion time of about 48 hours and no security deposit for this visa type. Extra fees apply if the applicant is already inside the UAE. Abu Dhabi’s ICP lists its own fee structure for other visit-visa types.
Documents for Pakistani applicants
- Passport valid at least 6 months.
- A recent personal photo (white background).
- A copy of your Pakistani national ID card (CNIC) — GDRFA specifically requires a national ID for applicants from Pakistan, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan.
- A return or onward ticket.
- Health insurance valid in the UAE.
Sponsors may ask for a hotel booking and bank statement too.
Step by step
- Pick your travel dates and the length you need (30 or 60 days).
- Upload your passport scan, photo and CNIC copy in the Tripsol application.
- Our sponsor partner submits the application to GDRFA (Dubai) or ICP (other emirates).
- You receive the e-visa by email, usually within 2 working days.
- Fly with the e-visa printout, your return ticket and insurance.
Avoiding problems
- No “guaranteed visa”. Approval is the authorities’ decision. Be wary of agents promising guaranteed approval or asking for large “deposits”.
- Name match. The visa name must match your passport exactly, including spelling.
- Overstays are fined per day. Book your return within the visa’s validity.
- Purpose. A tourist visa does not permit work.
